The European Energy Market is an international conference, an important event for academics and professionals of the European energy sector. It is an excellent opportunity to review relevant experience of the European market operation, to get off the ground new solutions and map out new effective strategies for energy policy-makers. For eleven years the Conference has been successfully gathering renowned researchers, senior engineers, top economists and representatives of European regulators. It has been facilitating in-depth discussion of key topics and concepts, providing guidance by keynote speakers.
Born in Poland, after five years of gaining international recognition, the Conference comes back home. The European Energy Market 2014 (EEM14) conference will be held in Kraków, Poland on 28th – 30th May 2013. The conference will be organized by the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering, Lodz University of Technology and led by prof. Wladyslaw Mielczarski, who 20 years ago paved the way for the energy sector liberalization in Poland and who still shapes market trends in the Central East Europe .

The conference will take a place at the International
Cultural Centre (ICC) in Krakow, the most charming city in Poland. The centre is situated directly at the historical Old Market, the most uniqe and lively place of the city.

- Official conference dinner with best paper award ceremony.

Information for Authors
The authors of accepted abstracts are invited to submit full papers until 16th February 2014.
All papers will go through a two-step blind review process – peer reviewed by the International Scientific Committee and additional reviewers. Contributions submitted to EEM14 must be presented either as oral presentations or as poster pretentions. The working language of the conference is English, which will be used for all printed and electronic materials, during presentations and discussions. Please note that all papers that will be accepted and presented at the Conference will be included in the IEEE Xplore database and published in the IEEE Conference Proceedings. Submission will be judged by their originality, significance, interest, clarity relevance and correctness. All papers must be electronically submitted and must be in Adobe PDF format. Additional editing resources may be found at the PES Author’s Kit, under the heading “To prepare and submit a Technical Work for a PES Conference”. In addition, authors will be required to submit a filled IEEE Copyright form upon the full paper acceptance.
The EEM14 organising committee would like to announce a competition for Ph.D. students. The first 3 best papers will be awarded.
